We are thrilled to announce the recipients of the Nicholas Dean Bess Memorial Scholarship, a public safety initiative led by the Beyond Educating Foundation. This year, we proudly recognize Adam Scott and Riquelme Diaz Mendez, students at Success Barber School in the Whitehaven area of Memphis, TN. Both of these outstanding individuals have demonstrated a commitment to personal growth and community service, making them perfect representatives of the values this scholarship embodies.

Scholarship Details:
- Award Amount: Each recipient receives a total of $1,000. To promote ongoing engagement and support community initiatives, $700 is awarded upfront, with the remaining $300 provided after recipients attend and volunteer for three community events. This approach ensures that our scholarship recipients are not only benefitting from educational support but are also giving back to their community.
- Next Application Period: We are excited to continue this initiative and encourage other aspiring students to apply. The next application period opens on April 1, 2025.
